The firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney (7+ years) to manage a diverse caseload independently. While strong real estate litigation experience is ideal, attorneys with solid civil litigation backgrounds and some transactional awareness will be considered.
* Manage complex civil litigation matters from start to finish
* Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and dispositive matters
* Handle written discovery, depositions, and ESI strategy
* Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
* Litigate commercial real estate, land use, lease, easement, boundary, and business disputes
* Partner with the transactional team to identify early resolution opportunities
* Maintain and grow client relationships
* Support business development and firm growth initiatives
* Active California Bar license
* 7+ years of civil litigation experience
* Ability to independently manage a docket
* Strong written advocacy, oral argument, and law & motion experience
* Trial preparation experience
Base Salary: $160,000 - $175,000 (DOE)
Annual Bonus Tiers (prorated if starting mid-year):
* 1600 billable hours ? 5% of base salary
* 1800 hours ? 15% of base salary
* 2000+ hours ? 30% of base salary
Origination Bonus:
* 7.5% of originations, paid quarterly once paid by client
Billable Requirement: 1600 hours/year

The firm maintains a clear, policy-based path to shareholder status. Once an attorney's book of business reaches the required threshold to support shareholder responsibilities, partnership becomes attainable. The firm actively invests in each attorney's business development success.
